Barack Obama and his team have started a page on his campaign website called Fight the Smears. It's slim on setting the record straight having addressed on a few issues. One is about the rumor he doesn't put his hand over his heart during the pledge of allgiance. They supplied one video of him doing this in the senate. But what've I have seem people complaint about is him standing without putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.
The Obama team didn't address this at all.
Is this a Christian pastor who is over the top here or does he raise legitimate concerns about the type of Christianity Barack Obama believes in? According to a press released by the pastor in Standard Newswire the Obama team is scrambling to do damage control:
