Barack Obama and his team have started a page on his campaign website called Fight the Smears.  It's slim on setting the record straight having addressed on a few issues.  One is about the rumor he doesn't put his hand over his heart during the pledge of allgiance.  They supplied one video of him doing this in the senate.  But what've I have seem people complaint about is him standing without putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.
The Obama team didn't address this at all.

Little Green Footballs was the first to discovered the photos released to the media showing the missles launched were doctored although the MSM will not credit LFG.
Now, there is a video that confirms there were only three missles launched rather than the 4 shown in the video.

It's disturbing to see how a singer took liberty with the National Anthem in Denver:
A singer surprised dignitaries by singing Lift Every Voice and Sing, also known as the "black national anthem," to the tune of The Star-Spangled Banner during the mayor's State of the City address yesterday in Denver. Rene Marie, who was introduced by City Council president Michael Hancock to perform the national anthem, says she made the switch without informing the mayor's office. I see the national office of the Council of American Islamic Relations weighed in on the controversy caused by their Houston Chapter after they threatened to go to the FBI over an incident at Friendswood Junior High between two students. Telling the school instead of going that route, they would be OK with just giving a presentation on Islam instead. The problem was no parental notification was given to the nearly 900 student who had to attend the mandatory 40 minute religious talk about Islam.

Do you remember hearing the compelling 9/11 call last November when a man reported a couple men entering his neighbors home. Then he said he was going to shoot them - which he then did. It turns out they were both illegal foreign nationals from Columbia. Today, the grand jury decided not to file any charges against him:

I've been trying to find the video I saw yesterday of the huge rainbow over the nation's capitol that appeared shortly after Tim Russert's memorial service where they had just heard "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" played by Bruce Springstein.  It was breathtaking. 
I haven't been successful so far but I came across a video of a gifted musician who performed "Somewhere over the Rainbow. 
This video is a memorial to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole who passed away in 1997.
